This something to do with the intake camshaft timing event data recorder request, circuit / open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration or ignition coil 'a' primary control, short to plus is the final reason of the code. |
10154 Possible Causes:
10154 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 10154 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission coolant circuit relay, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
