Staring in engine fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit / open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), short to ground or throttle/pedal position sensor 'b', maximum stop performance is the final reason of the code. |
10148 Possible Causes:
10148 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10148 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
