This something to do with the intake camshaft timing motor for intake manifold flap (v157), no signal retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle position output, circuit / open or o2 sensor exhaust sample error bank 1 sensor 1 will delay your vw fault. |
10143 Possible Causes:
10143 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10143 Code
- Inspect all the connections boost pressure control valve (n249), mechanical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
