10140 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), implausible signal retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start control of valves pump / nozzle, electrical errors in the electric circuit you can see the power supply, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
10140 Possible Causes:
10140 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10140 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
