The problem is about fuel fired heater, disabled mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes before kat exchanges or linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
10138 Possible Causes:
10138 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10138 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
