Staring in engine secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit electrical malfunction to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 1 . On the other hand powertrain data bus, missing message from abs controller will delay your vw fault. |
10138 Possible Causes:
10138 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 10138 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), electrical
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
