Diameter in engine cylinder 2 above knock threshold retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start engine oil temperature sensor (g8), circuit range / performance you can see the exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
10131 Possible Causes:
10131 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 10131 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine torque reduction, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
