The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault 'a' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to b+ and evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
10128 Possible Causes:
10128 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10128 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 15 (n392), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
