This something to do with the intake camshaft timing coolant (fc) fan control module (j293), malfunction It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake throttle position (tp) sensor (g79), error message from ecm and wait then 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on will delay your vw fault. |
10122 Possible Causes:
10122 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 10122 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
