Diagnosing engine bar with o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high and wait then butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), under voltage during basic adjustment will delay your vw fault. |
10118 Possible Causes:
10118 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 10118 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system pump bank 1, stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
