When you open exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start injector cylinder 14 (n391), circuit high and wait then exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
10117 Possible Causes:
10117 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 10117 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
