10116 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to ground+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), short-circuit after pluses . On the other hand transmission faulty is the final reason of the code. |
10116 Possible Causes:
10116 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 10116 Code
- Inspect all the connections mass-airflow sensor 3 (g456), signal to low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
