101 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed rough road / engine torque signal from abs; electrical malfunction and direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
101 Possible Causes:
101 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 101 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g301) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
