Diagnosing engine bar with throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes before kat exchanges you can see the actuator supply voltage 'c', circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
10097 Possible Causes:
10097 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 10097 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, rich control limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
