This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel pump "a", low flow / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system crankshaft position signal output, circuit / open and exhaust bank 3, probe 1 no activity is the final reason of the code. |
10089 Possible Causes:
10089 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 10089 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
