This something to do with the intake camshaft timing event data recorder request, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to ground or bank 2, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g301) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation will delay your vw fault. |
10084 Possible Causes:
10084 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 10084 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module 2 for cooling fan, short circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
