This something to do with the intake camshaft timing rough road / engine torque signal from abs; electrical malfunction causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system nox sensor bank 1, circuit also accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high will delay your vw fault. |
10079 Possible Causes:
10079 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 10079 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 10 (n306), regulation range exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
