Staring in engine fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start cylinder 3 above knock threshold or oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit will delay your vw fault. |
10079 Possible Causes:
10079 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 10079 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control motor, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
