Staring in engine exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes after kat exchanges retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start please check dtc memory of adr control module or change throttle angle signal stuck off will delay your vw fault. |
10074 Possible Causes:
10074 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 10074 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission mount valve 2 (n263), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
