10064 Description And Summary : |

When you open throttle control: airflow at idle too low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), signal too small or shift lock, open is the final reason of the code. |
10064 Possible Causes:
10064 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10064 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
