Diagnosing engine bar with relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles power supply (b+) terminal 15, voltage too high . On the other hand reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
10056 Possible Causes:
10056 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High

What To Check After Fixing 10056 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 3, out of range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
