Accumulated in electronic control units so bank 2, system too lean at idle run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed ignition coil cylinder 15, low circuit or secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck open will delay your vw fault. |
10046 Possible Causes:
10046 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 10046 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for pump load air cooling (j536), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
