10045 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing transmission coolant circuit relay, intermittent mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit low or change vehicle speed signal wheel speed from brake control module; range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
10045 Possible Causes:
10045 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 10045 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), power supply malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
