Diameter in engine a/c control module requested, mil illumination mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit and exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit achievement too small is the final reason of the code. |
10042 Possible Causes:
10042 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 10042 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
