Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 3, out of range the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles please check dtc memory of abs control module and ignition coil 'i' primary control, short to plus is the final reason of the code. |
10042 Possible Causes:
10042 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 10042 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant fan (v7), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
