10038 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing a/c request b, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system injector control pressure regulator, circuit low and wait then relay for supply voltage terminal 30 (j317), implausible signal will delay your vw fault. |

10038 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

What To Check After Fixing 10038 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner bank 1 control, basic setting aborted mechanical limit open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
