The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault reversing light, circuit open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system idle regulation lean operation: rpm too high and wait then engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
10023 Possible Causes:
10023 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10023 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, implausible message of the control module central electrics
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
