10013 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high also o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean is the final reason of the code. |
10013 Possible Causes:
10013 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 10013 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine- / transmission control modules, versions do not match
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
