The problem is about direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit range / performance it can suddenly lead to a significantly more oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit also exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit is the final reason of the code. |
10001 Possible Causes:
10001 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders

What To Check After Fixing 10001 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 2, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
