When you open reductant injection air pump control, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit high you can see the supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
09998 Possible Causes:
09998 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 09998 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
