Diameter in engine data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 1 mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor rough road / acceleration sensor, electrical malfunction you can see the ignition coil 'b' secondary circuit, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
09998 Possible Causes:
09998 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09998 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
