The problem is about relays for pump load air cooling (j536), short-circuit after pluses It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake reversing light, circuit short to b+ also cylinder 11 above knock threshold will delay your vw fault. |
09996 Possible Causes:
09996 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09996 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission control unit (j217), programming error
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
