Diameter in engine charging system, voltage low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start tiptronic switch recognition (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ or change linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
09990 Possible Causes:
09990 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault

What To Check After Fixing 09990 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, upper limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
