The problem is about tiptronic switch up (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit range / performance and diesel particulate filter regeneration frequency is the final reason of the code. |

09985 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses

What To Check After Fixing 09985 Code
- Inspect all the connections potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
