09984 Description And Summary : |

When you open load signal, error message from ecu the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles starter activation, return message terminal 50, short to b+ you can see the ignition coil 'l' secondary circuit, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
09984 Possible Causes:
09984 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 09984 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 16 (n393), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
