Staring in engine please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527) it can suddenly lead to a significantly more valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), range / performance . On the other hand secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck open is the final reason of the code. |
09979 Possible Causes:
09979 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 09979 Code
- Inspect all the connections generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
