Diameter in engine load signal from alternator terminal df, open or short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to ground also linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |

09972 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 09972 Code
- Inspect all the connections mass-airflow sensor 4 (g457), signal to high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
