This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 2 run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed nox sensor bank 2, circuit high or change fuel mixture control adjustment range 1, higher limit not reached is the final reason of the code. |
09966 Possible Causes:
09966 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 09966 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
