This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 1 to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so automatic glow time control module 2 (j609), circuit implausible signal and nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
09966 Possible Causes:
09966 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09966 Code
- Inspect all the connections ng high pressure valve (n372), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
