09960 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault cylinder 7 injector, data incompatible to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so please check dtc memory of air condition ecu and wait then throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', maximum stop performance is the final reason of the code. |
09960 Possible Causes:
09960 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09960 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter does not run, mechanically blocked or mechanical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
