This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit intermittent the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust gas temperature control bank 4, range / performance . So for next tiptronic switch up (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ is the final reason of the code. |

09951 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 09951 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
