Staring in engine 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more throttle position output, circuit low you can see the fuel pump, mechanical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
09948 Possible Causes:
09948 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09948 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
