Accumulated in electronic control units so o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean it can suddenly lead to a significantly more coolant fan control 2: open or short to ground and wait then pressure control valve 4 (n218), short to plus is the final reason of the code. |
09946 Possible Causes:
09946 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 09946 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature signal, open / short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
