The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles injection pump, fuel calibration not learned . So for next linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |

09940 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Inspect all the connections mass-airflow sensor 3 (g456), signal to high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
