The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault starter does not run, mechanically blocked or mechanical malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle actuator control motor current, range / performance or o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
09938 Possible Causes:
09938 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 09938 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
