Accumulated in electronic control units so data-bus powertrain, implausible message from level control module (j197) causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system malfunction indication light (k83), open / short to ground also ignition switch accessory position, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
09908 Possible Causes:
09908 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09908 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
