09908 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing a camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor pressure control valve 1 (n215), open / short to ground . On the other hand relays for small amount of heat (j359), short-circuit after pluses is the final reason of the code. |
09908 Possible Causes:
09908 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 09908 Code
- Inspect all the connections torque management feedback signal "b", high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
