When you open transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), no signal causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck closed also valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
09906 Possible Causes:
09906 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09906 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 2 (n367), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
