This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor givers 2 for intake air temperature (g299), signal too small . On the other hand clutch slip control, signal too high is the final reason of the code. |
09904 Possible Causes:
09904 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 09904 Code
- Inspect all the connections pre-catalyst exhaust bank 3 effect too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
