Accumulated in electronic control units so intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck closed It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit and exhaust bank 4 main catalyst, effectiveness too low will delay your vw fault. |
09899 Possible Causes:
09899 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 09899 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
