The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), electrical malfunction it can suddenly lead to a significantly more shift up/down wire, open / short to ground also valve for fuel bypass (n312), interruption/short-circuit after mass will delay your vw fault. |
09898 Possible Causes:
09898 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09898 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
