This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'a' primary control, circuit low to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, tension too largely . On the other hand please check dtc memory of central electric control ecu will delay your vw fault. |
09889 Possible Causes:
09889 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 09889 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
