When you open coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit low or valve for engine storage (n144/145), interruption / short-circuit after mass will delay your vw fault. |
09888 Possible Causes:
09888 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09888 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module 2 for cooling fan, faulty
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
