This something to do with the intake camshaft timing nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit intermittent mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor idle speed control throttle position, electrical malfunction or clutch torque, adaptation at limit will delay your vw fault. |
09884 Possible Causes:
09884 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 09884 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
