Accumulated in electronic control units so fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit intermittent and linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
09881 Possible Causes:
09881 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 09881 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
