Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes after kat exchanges mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, short-circuit after mass you can see the linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
09873 Possible Causes:
09873 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09873 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
